Victor Appleton è un pseudonimo utilizzato da diversi autori di libri per ragazzi, pubblicati principalmente dalla casa editrice americana Stratemeyer Syndicate. Il nome Victor Appleton è stato utilizzato per la prima volta nel 1910 per la serie di libri di Tom Swift, storie di avventura e fantascienza incentrate sul giovane inventore Tom Swift.
La serie originale di Tom Swift, scritta principalmente da Howard R. Garis e W. Bert Foster, è composta da 40 volumi pubblicati tra il 1910 e il 1941. Questi libri, assieme alle serie successive, hanno avuto un notevole impatto sulla letteratura per ragazzi, introducendo il genere dell’avventura tecnologica e influenzando molti scrittori di fantascienza, compresi Isaac Asimov e Robert A.
